MEMPHIS, TN - Southwest Airlines has announced that it is adding an additional daily non-stop flight between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) on March 6. This seasonal addition will provide passengers with two daily nonstop flights between Memphis and Orlando during the spring break season.
The airline has expanded its service in Memphis since its arrival in November 2013; and is also adding an additional flight to Houston in November.
“We are excited to add flight options during spring break, which is one of the year’s busiest travel periods,” said Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “We are continuing to pursue the growth of existing airlines at MEM, as well as the addition of new carriers.”
