Southwest Airlines to add additional Memphis-Houston flight in November

MEMPHIS, TN – Southwest Airlines has announced that it is adding another daily nonstop flight between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) beginning November 2.
The additional flight is part of a nationwide expansion by Southwest Airlines, and Memphis passengers will also have new opportunities to connect to new international destinations through Southwest’s gateway cities such as Baltimore-Washington (BWI), Chicago Midway (MDW) and Orlando (MCO).
“Southwest has made a significant impact on our ability to offer frequent and affordable air service,” said Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “We are excited about their continued expansion at MEM and the new options available to our passengers.”
