MEM receives multiple government communications awards

Memphis International Airport received several marketing honors at the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil & Gold Screen awards ceremony on June 14. MEM received 1st Place in both Branding/Rebranding Campaign and E-Newsletter, 2nd Place in the Website Redesign category, and an Award of Excellence in Promotional Campaigns (greater than $100,000) for the "First Team MEM" campaign.
The NAGC Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards competition, which was held in conjunction with the NAGC 2017 Communications School, salutes superior communications efforts of government agencies and recognizes the people who create the products, including contractors. All levels of government were represented in the competition, from federal to local agencies. NAGC utilized volunteer judges from across the United States to review every entry and to provide constructive comments to the competitors. NAGC received more than 275 entries this year for the Blue Pencil/Gold Screen competition.
