A few weeks before the official start of the summer travel season, Memphis International Airport partnered with Autism Resources of the Mid-South (ARMS), HMS Host, TSA, Delta Airlines, and countless volunteers to host Flying Together, an event specifically designed to support children with special needs and their families.
The long-dormant transit tunnel that lies two levels beneath the outer commercial drive will soon seal a piece of MEM history.
Beginning May 1, the airline ticketing counters for Allegiant, Frontier Airlines, and Breeze Airways will be moving to Terminal B. Wayfinding signage around the airport will be in place to guide travelers. Additionally, MEM employees and volunteers will continue to be positioned throughout the terminals to assist passengers.
At the March 20 meeting of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) Board of Commissioners meeting, design consultants UrbanArch and Alliiance provided an update on Memphis International Airport’s Terminal Modernization and Seismic Program (TMSP).
