Emergency Exercise Scheduled to Take Place at Memphis International Airport on October 27, 2025
The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) will host its 2025 Triennial Full-Scale Emergency Exercise at Memphis International Airport (MEM) on Monday, October 27, 2025. This year’s exercise brings together hundreds of participants, including emergency responders, volunteers, mutual aid partners and aviation stakeholders.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) expects an estimated 51,000 people to pass through the checkpoint at Memphis International Airport (MEM) during the 2025 Fall Break travel period, which will take place between October 9-13. This represents an increase of about six percent compared to Fall Break 2024. The peak days are projected to be October 9, 10 and 12 with approximately 11,000 people passing through the checkpoint each day.
