Frontier Airlines To Add Washington DC Service At MEM
    Friday, June 13, 2014

MEMPHIS, TN – Frontier Airlines announced this morning that it is adding four weekly flights between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Washington Dulles Airport (IAD), beginning September 8.

The flights will run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. In making the announcement, Frontier cited strong passenger response to its initial flights between Memphis and Denver, which began in March.

To introduce Frontier to the market, the airline is hosting a 12-hour, today-only sale with flights from IAD to any of the new cities for just $15* each way. Tickets must be purchased by 10:59 p.m. (CST) on May 13, 2014, for travel through Nov. 19, 2014. Additional introductory fares as low as $39* will be available at www.FlyFrontier.com through May 17, 2014. Tickets may be purchased at FlyFrontier.com.

“This is a key development in our efforts to expand our frequent and affordable air service at MEM,” said Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “Washington DC is one of our most popular destinations, and these flights provide our passengers with a new low-cost option.”

Passengers can book flights at www.flyfrontier.com.
