The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) requires all commercial ground transportation service providers operating on Airport property more than three (3) times per month during any given month to obtain a permit. This includes picking up only.

Transportation Network Providers (TNCs) must enter a contract with MSCAA.

Terminal Modernization Seismic Program (TMSP) / Outer Road Construction Project (ORCP) Impacts on Commercial Drive
There will be staging areas for certain commercial drive operators. After paying their trip fee, taxis will stage and hold at the taxi hold building until directed to leave. Limos will check in with the booth at taxi hold. They will be either be allowed to go directly to the commercial drive or stage at the taxi hold building until space is available. All coach buses must stop at the staging area and check in at the booth. You will be sent to a designated stop once your party is available.
Current Commercial Curb Assignments
Taxi/Limousine operations are located on the left side of the LOWER MIDDLE roadway of the B Baggage crosswalk.
Shuttles/Other operations are located on the right side of the LOWER MIDDLE roadway of the B Baggage crosswalk.
TNCs operations are located on the left side of the UPPER OUTER roadway of the B Terminal crosswalk at the awning structure.
Coach Buses/MATA operations are located on the UPPER INNER roadway with marked pick up/drop off stops.

Upcoming Commercial Curb Assignments
The next phase of the project will move commercial drive operations from the LOWER MIDDLE roadway to a new Interim Commercial Curb (ICC). Those operators who will be impacted in this phase are listed below. At this time, it is planned that the current commercial gate arms will be replaced, and access protocols will be changed. The install date of the new arms and details of the new access protocols are still being decided. All those who were previously required to stage will continue to do so during this phase.
Taxi/Limousine/Shuttles/Other operations will be relocated to the new ICC within the Short-Term parking garage.
Buses/MATA operations will continue to be located on the UPPER INNER roadway with marked pick up/drop off stops.
TNC operations will be relocated to the new ICC within the Short-Term parking garage.
