Media are allowed unescorted in all public areas, including terminal lobbies and hallways, parking lots and garages, and designated observation areas. Please don’t block or restrict movement anywhere in the terminal, and don’t obstruct concourse entrances and exits.
Federal regulations limit access to certain areas of the airport, including areas beyond security checkpoints, boarding areas, and the airfields. Access to these areas requires the approval of both the Airport Authority and the appropriate federal entity or entities.
When conducting interviews, the media must not interfere with airport or airline operations. No cables, extension cords, lights, etc., may be placed in any public area without prior approval from the Airport Authority’s Community Outreach area. Such items, if approved, must not interfere with passenger flow or airport operations.
Tenant areas, which include airline gate and ticketing areas, restaurants, shops and other business, are leased space to airport business partners. Access to these areas must be obtained from the tenant.
Filming and photography requests are subject to review and approval. Please contact Glen Thomas, PIO, prior to filming or conducting interviews at the airport.
Media credentials must be displayed at all times. Members are the media must identify themselves to anyone they interview, photograph or film.
Media parking for airport-sponsored events, such as news conferences, special public events or emergencies, is arranged through Glen Thomas, PIO, and is paid for by the airport through ticket validation. At all other times, media representatives will pay regular parking fees.
