On Saturday, May 16, nearly 100 participants gathered at Memphis International Airport (MEM) for its 2nd Annual “Flying Together” event. The program was designed to alleviate stress and anxiety that individuals and families with special needs often experience when navigating air travel.

A few weeks before the official start of the summer travel season, Memphis International Airport partnered with Autism Resources of the Mid-South (ARMS), HMS Host, TSA, Delta Airlines, and countless volunteers to host Flying Together, an event specifically designed to support children with special needs and their families.
