Fall Break continues the trend of heavy passenger traffic at MEM. More than 50,000 people are expected to pass through the TSA checkpoint during the peak Fall Break travel period, which will take place October 5-9. MEM continues to strongly recommend that passengers arrive at the airport a minimum of two hours before their scheduled departure time.

Memphis International Airport (MEM) is projecting another busy Fall Break in 2021, with more than 38,000 people expected to pass through the security checkpoint during the five-day period between October 7-11. Fall Break is typically the airport’s busiest extended weekend of the entire year.
