The Welcome to Memphis 2025 Pick Awards Party was held on October 28, 2025 at the Memphis Zoo to celebrate the best in hospitality, and MEM’s own Chisa Campbell was named the city-wide winner in the Docent & Tour Guide category. Congratulations to Chisa for this well-deserved recognition!

Chisa is a part of MEM’s Terminal Operations team, whose job is to help guide and direct passengers all around the airport and make sure every individual has a “positively MEMorable” experience. Whether that means helping find a misplaced bag or arranging transportation for travelers with mobility challenges, she rose to the challenge time and time again. 

In another show of the Terminal Operations team’s commitment to providing superior customer service at MEM, every member of the department was also nominated: Benita Early, Cynthia Buford, Brandon Booker, and Deirdre Oglesby. Well done!

Pick Awards are given quarterly by the Welcome to Memphis group, a subsidiary of Memphis Tourism. Nominees are recognized for providing excellent customer service, an eagerness to share their knowledge of Memphis, and the willingness to go the extra mile to exhibit hospitality. The Pick Awards Party recognizes all quarterly nominees and names the overall winner for the year in each category.
