Charles W. Baker Airport’s new terminal building is almost ready to welcome pilots, passengers, and guests. Completion is targeted for October. The finished building will be 5,058 sq. ft.

MEM expects more than 59,000 people to pass through checkpoint for July 4th travel period

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) expects more than 59,000 people to pass through the checkpoint at Memphis International Airport (MEM) during the Fourth of July weekend travel period, which will take place between July 1-7. The peak days are projected to be Thursday, July 3 and Sunday, July 6, with approximately 10,000 people expected to pass through the checkpoint each day.
