MEMPHIS, TENN. (May 15, 2016) – Memphis International Airport (MEM) recently celebrated an important milestone for its innovative MEMPERKS frequent parker program with the enrollment of the program’s 1000th new member.
John Howard of Cordova was the program’s 1000th enrollee. All new enrollees receive a bonus of 60 points, which is redeemable for one free day of parking in the economy parking lot, but to mark the occasion and to show its appreciation, MEM is awarding John a full week of free economy parking.
Launched in December 2016, MEMPERKS allows passengers to accrue points when parking at the airport that can be exchanged later for free parking. Enrollment in MEMPERKS is free, and participants earn one point for every dollar spent on parking in any of the airport’s parking facilities.
“We’re thrilled about the popularity of MEMPERKS,” said Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “I’d like to thank John and the many other loyal customers who have enrolled in MEMPERKS in just the past four months. We really do appreciate your business.”
