Delta Air Lines to launch nonstop service between Memphis and John F. Kennedy International Airport in September

MEMPHIS, TENN. (May 3, 2025) – Delta Air Lines has announced that it will launch nonstop service between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City starting September 8, 2025. The flight will operate daily. Tickets are on sale at www.delta.com.

The New York City market is MEM’s second largest, with 352 passengers traveling daily each way between the two cities.

The JFK flight brings Delta’s number of destinations at MEM to nine, joining Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York (LaGuardia Airport), and Salt Lake City. The Memphis-Austin flight will launch on May 7.

“We are excited to see Delta’s continued expansion at MEM,” said Michael Keeney, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “The addition of JFK service provides our passengers with another option to the New York City area and expands connectivity to Europe and other international destinations.”
