Breeze has also announced new service to Pensacola starting September 5
MEMPHIS, TENN. (May 7, 2025) – Breeze Airways has launched its new service at Memphis International Airport (MEM), with its first incoming flight arriving at MEM from Tampa International Airport (TPA) at 4:25 pm this afternoon. The inaugural outgoing flight to TPA is scheduled to depart at 6:25 pm.
Breeze will launch its second flight at MEM on Friday, May 9 at 10:43 am when nonstop service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) begins. RDU was previously MEM’s top unserved destination.
Headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Breeze will be the tenth airline serving MEM. The airline will operate a 137-seat Airbus A220 aircraft for the flights. Each service will operate two times weekly: Monday/Friday for MEM-RDU and Wednesday/Saturday for MEM-TPA.
In addition to the Tampa and Raleigh-Durham routes, Breeze announced today that it will begin nonstop service between Memphis and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) starting September 5. The Pensacola flight will operate twice weekly on Friday and Monday. Tickets for all three routes are on sale at www.flybreeze.com.

“We’re excited to bring our premium low-cost service to Memphis and know the community will enjoy the experience they have on Breeze,” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO. “Memphis is a perfect fit for Breeze’s business model of connecting unserved and underserved secondary markets and we’re pleased to bring convenient, direct flights to the community this spring.”
“We’re excited to celebrate Breeze’s new service from Memphis International Airport with the addition of Pensacola this fall,” said Fiona Kiesel, Breeze Airways’ Chief Guest Officer. “We are grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from travelers in the Memphis area so far and look forward to bringing these and other new routes to the market as we continue to grow.”
“The launch of Breeze Airways service at MEM is a tremendous development for Memphis passengers, as RDU was our top unserved destination,” said Michael Keeney, Chairman of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners. “In addition, the Tampa and Pensacola routes provide more choices for passengers looking to travel to popular Florida destinations. We expect that our passengers will embrace Breeze and the new routes they are offering.”
