MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 21, 2025) – Allegiant Air has announced that it will launch nonstop service between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and McGhee Tyson Airport (TSY) in Knoxville starting September 4.
The new MEM-TSY service will operate two days weekly on Thursday and Sunday. are on sale at www.allegiant.com.
With the addition of Knoxville service, Allegiant now offers nonstop service to six destinations at MEM, including Destin-Ft. Walton, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Orlando-Sanford, and St. Pete-Clearwater. Allegiant is celebrating 10 years at MEM this month and has served nearly two million arriving and departing Memphis passengers during that time.
“We are excited to see Allegiant expand its service here at MEM,” said Michael Keeney, Chairman of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Board of Commissioners. “With many University of Tennessee students and alumni based in Memphis, this route provides an affordable and fast alternative to driving.”
