The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) expects more than 52,000 people to pass through the checkpoint at Memphis International Airport (MEM) during the Memorial Day weekend travel period, which will take place between May 21 and May 26. The peak days are projected to be Thursday and Friday, with approximately 9,600 people passing through the checkpoint each day.
