S&P Global Ratings Affirms Airport Authority’s “A” Rating
S&P Global Ratings has affirmed “A” rating for Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority’s (MSCAA’s) revenue bonds issued for Memphis International Airport (MEM). MSCAA’s outlook is stable.
The Memphis City Council has approved the appointment of Belinda Anderson to the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) Board of Commissioners. Anderson, who was nominated by City of Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland, will serve her new term from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2028.
Forrest Artz, Vice President of Finance/CFO for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), has announced his retirement effective October 29, 2022. Artz joined MSCAA in 2008 and he has 23 years of experience in the aviation industry.

He succeeds Pace Cooper, whose term as Chairman ends on December 31, 2021. Keeney’s term begins January 1, 2022.
The Memphis City Council has approved the reappointment of Gregory Fletcher to the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) Board of Commissioners. Fletcher, who was nominated by Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris, has served on the MSCAA board since September 2019.
